In this session, Different Mantras and small verses are to be taught properly. The meaning and mythology behind them will be explained.

EVENING RECEPTION (with Sudhir and Namita)16:30 – 18:30 and SATSANG 18:45 to 20:45 (with Sudhir)
Satsang is a Sanskrit term defined as “gathering together for the truth” or more simply “being with the truth”. Within the yogic tradition, spiritual discourse in the form of questions and answers with master teachers has long been used as a means for untangling life’s big (and small) questions in order to spark spiritual insight.
In this open session, we will meet for informal questions and answers with Sudhir Rishi, covering a variety of topics on spirituality and yoga. We invite all participants to come with an inquisitive mind and an open heart!
There will be an informal reception before the satsang begins. The venue will be open from 16:30 and tea and light refreshments will be available.

Why are we here? He studied Indian scriptures, carried out austerities, practiced teachings and explored the emotional world thoroughly. After two decades dedicated to the applied study of Yoga and Indian Spirituality, he felt a duty to start sharing his learnings with others.

Workshop: 'Natarajasana: Myth, Freedom, Flexibility'
Date and time: 13 November 2016, 10:30 - 12:30
Location: Victor's Lab, the Bussey Building, 133 Rye Lane, SE15 4ST, London, UK

A two hour yoga and meditation workshop inspired by Natarajasana, the Lord of the Dance pose. We will weave the story and mythology of Nataraja (an avatar of Lord Shiva - a Hindu Deity, known as the supreme yogi - the cosmic dancer who performs to destroy a weary universe and prepare for its renewal), into a strong heart opening vinyasa flow practice and guided meditation, drawing from the lessons to be learned from this divine dance of Shiva. The practice will close with a guided yoga nidra practice.
This workshop will be led alongside another senior yoga teacher, (the inspiring, hilarious and wise beyond her years) Izzy Arcoleo. We will explore the story behind the pose, some new techniques to open up the body to enter this pose safely and with correct alignment, and of course, great music and laughs are guaranteed!

Workshop: 'Setting new intentions on the Autumn Equinox'
Date and time: 24 September 2016, 15:00 - 17:00
Location: Katarina Bangata 21, Stockholm / Studio Yoga Inuti, Stockholm, Sweden
All levels of practitioner welcome

Let us honor the Autumn Equinox – when day and night are almost equal length, and northern and summer hemispheres of the Earth are equally illuminated- by creating more balance in the mind and body and setting new intentions for the season ahead.

We will begin with a short guided, seated meditation to set our intentions followed by an intelligently sequenced vinyasa flow class to open up, and find balance in the body. The workshop will conclude with 30 minutes of yoga nidra – a very powerful practice of ‘yogic sleep’ where we will re-affirm our intentions through the practice of creating a 'sankalpa'.

This workshop is in collaboration with Swedish Lifestyle website, Best of You.
